If her ex mother in law who has every reason to hate Lindsay can have compassion and believe she was not in her right mind, why can’t most people?”

Psychosis is real, I have witnessed it and resulting behavior was completely out of character for person in psychosis. Came in suddenly due to medication change and never happened again”

“@JimboSlice702 @pmberkeley The average person has NO experience with psychosis. When in psychosis it is possible to believe completely irrational things (a voice commanding to murder children), and have no control. CW did not prove she was sane or planned murders. Psychosis can come on very suddenly.”

“@MiddleIsntBad @pmberkeley The leading expert in PPP Dr Resnick said she was in psychosis. One of the prosecution psychologist witnesses was a joke - Dr Mack. The other was more credible and said possible but unlikely. He admitted Dr Resnick was an expert on psychosis. How can that not create doubt?”

“@LindaGr55426894 @pmberkeley There is truth to that - the jurors know far, far more than any of us. I watched the entire trial and do not believe the CW proved premeditation or that she was “sane” when she killed her kids. They came up with zero motives. All witnesses praised her as a great mother.”

“@crisfunk @pmberkeley My guess is you have zero experience with severe mental health issues including bipolar 1&2, post partum Psychosis, etc. What if Lindsay was your daughter who desperately tried to get help, had no motive to murder and had been a great mother until this horrible act?”

“@_AerePerennius_ @pmberkeley Look up the Matthew Schleier case of a man who strangled his 5 year old son and was granted NGRI. I believe in LC case there were multiple triggers, severe sleep deprivation, bipolar 2, medication side effects and hormonal changes when she stopped breastfeeding.”

“@pmberkeley Agree with you! I watched entire trial and there is no way the CW proved that she was “sane” Defense had no burden of proof. CW psych said possible but unlikely it could be Psychosis and also expressed respect for Dr Resnick the leading expert who said PPP. That creates doubt.”
